Have you ever wondered why people desire to be president? How were the past presidents perceived in their times? What were their campaigns like?

Let's begin with the presidents. Currently there are 43, from George Washington (no political party) to George W. Bush (a Republican). Two fathers and sons became president - John Adams (2nd) and John Quincy Adams (6th), and George H. W. Bush (41st) and George H. Bush (43rd).

One grandfather and grandson became president - William Henry Harrison (9th) and Benjamin Harrison (23rd). A set of cousins also became president - Theodore Roosevelt (26th) and Franklin Delano Roosevelt (32nd).
